cook differently, eat real food
“Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are.”
- Anthelme Brillat Savarin
Food really is the centre of the universe. Without it, man would perish. Despite it, there are some who struggle each day to feed their families. And yet regardless, meals define the culture of every community on our planet. Anytime we arrive somewhere different, we make a point to find a local place, full of local people, to sit down for a meal. This is where we can sit, observe, and see what matters to people. It is through a meal that friends and families come together, bonds are formed, conflict is momentarily forgotten and stories are told. For us, food is the gateway to really seeing through the eyes of a community - as we fill our bellies we share a common desire to be nourished, to connect, and to enjoy every morsel than sustains us.
